The «Teacher of Kazakhstan» Award is held within the framework of the global project «Teacher of the World», which is an analogue of the Nobel Peace Prize with a prize fund of 1 million US dollars. The award was established by the Warke Foundation, with the aim of improving the status of teachers in the world.
The selection of nominees is carried out according to the established criteria of the Warke Foundation, which are the organizers of the Global Award. The transparency of the selection process and the evaluation process of the National Award is monitored by an International Audit Company. According to the results of 2 stages of voting, 10 finalists will be determined, who will be nominated from Kazakhstan for the Global «Teacher of the World» Award in 2022.
Also this year, a new direction «Teacher of the Future» is being launched.
